A positive major economic indicators’ trend is observed in Moscow, said Mayor Sergei Sobyanin during a working meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Transcripts of the meeting are posted on the Kremlin website.
"While the final results have not been announced yet, we nonetheless see that Moscow demonstrates the positive trend in a significant number of such basic indicators as the gross regional product, real wage growth, investment growth,"- said Sobyanin.
He stressed that currently the main thing for the city is to keep the volume of investments, including the construction of housing and commercial real estate, as well as investments in infrastructure. According to him, over the past four years Moscow has moved into the first place on the dynamics of development in comparison with the world's largest metropolises. He also recalled that Moscow was ranked fourth after Beijing, Shanghai and Tokyo in the volume of putting real estate into operation.
